The Situation


  • Our customer was at a crossroads. Increasing raw materials and labour costs were putting a huge strain on the business. They had tried lean initiatives before with other providers however the changes had never stuck.

  • They needed to change their operation and refine their product offering fast. Following a recommendation from another client, they decided to engage with Pembroke Alliance.

The Objectives


Following an initial review, a programme of work was set out to deliver against the following objectives

  • Introduce a new product offering with associated equipment & processes

  • Help the team to work smarter, not harder, and establish effective reporting structures

  • Implement a system to monitor material usage and challenge standard costings

  • Develop performance management metrics to drive improvement

  • Identify potential sales prospects through existing sales channels and new product development
